Objective 1

a) At the conclusion of this lecture, participants will be able to locate and understand the laws that come with the privilege of licensure in their profession. b) At the conclusion of this lecture, participants will be able to identify situations that may trigger affirmative duties that are required under licensure in their profession. c) At the conclusion of this lecture, participants will be able to articulate the purpose of the Arizona State Board for Respiratory Care Examiners and demonstrate knowledge regarding how the Board accomplishes its mission.

Purpose/Goal of this activity

This year, our goal is to help bridge the gap through all the changes that are here, and that are coming in Respiratory Care. This will help you avoid pitfalls or going down dead end paths that only take up your time and money. Change is coming, and with it comes new things to be done, but also it brings a bunch of new opportunities for respiratory therapists.
