Award Nominations

RCP of the Year

This award will recognize a respiratory care practitioner who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the field of respiratory care in their clinical practice. The award recipient shall be a practitioner who demonstrates ethical integrity by working to improve patients’ lives through patient advocacy, patient safety, and quality care. The award recipient must be an AARC member.

Emerging Leader Award

This award will recognize a respiratory care practitioner who has contributed to the respiratory profession with a demonstration of leadership and service, regardless of being in an official leadership position or not. The award recipient demonstrates integrity, humility, innovation, service, professionalism, volunteerism and leadership as an advocate for patients and the advancement of the respiratory profession. The award recipient must be an AARC member.

Educator of the Year

This award will recognize a respiratory care practitioner who exemplifies a commitment to educating respiratory care practitioners and/or respiratory students. The award recipient demonstrates a passion for educating, motivating, and mentoring others in their pursuit of excellence in the field of respiratory care. The award recipient must be an AARC member.
